The role of our Executive Assistant Manager – Food and Beverage
The Executive Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations across the resort. This role ensures operational excellence, financial performance, exceptional guest satisfaction, and full compliance with health and safety standards.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will provide strategic leadership to all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, banquets, and catering operations.
Position oversees the development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures implementation of Silversands service strategy, training culture, service standards and expectations. Position ensures LQA, AAA and other service indicator scores are kept at the necessary levels. Position is expected to be visible in the operations on a daily basis providing direction and monitoring the “guest experience”. Schedule will include days, nights, holidays, and weekends to provide coverage as necessary for most effective operation.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience
- At least 3 years in a senior management role within a hotel or resort environment
- Proven experience managing multi-outlet operations
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control
- Experience working in a Caribbean or international resort environment is an asset
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)

The Role of our Director of Sales
Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the Director Sales will execute the hotel's sales strategy across all market segments, manage key accounts and partnerships, and lead the sales team to deliver consistent revenue performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4-5 years of luxury hotel sales experience, including at least 2–3 years in a senior sales role.
- Proven experience managing sales teams and key accounts in ultra-luxury or resort environments.
- Solid knowledge of key international source markets — US, EU, and GCC — with an established network in the luxury travel trade.
- Experience in hotel pre-opening or opening phases is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, Business, or Economic Studies.
- Proficient in CRM platforms, PMS, extranets, and sales management tools.
- Good understanding of revenue management principles and distribution channels.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute the hotel's annual sales strategy, across leisure FIT, groups, corporate, weddings, and events.
- Oversee the pre-opening sales phase including rate plan development, consortia contracting, and account activation.
- Manage key accounts and strategic travel trade relationships, ensuring production targets are met.
- Working closely with operations and finance to ensure excellence.
- Translate commercial targets into clear team objectives and individual KPIs.
- Coordinate with Revenue, Reservation & Marketing Management on pricing proposals, group forecasting, and overall hotel performance.
- Lead sales activities including roadshows, FAM trips, trade shows, and client events.
- Engage global sales representatives to ensure the hotel is well-represented in key international markets.
- Report regularly to the Director of Marketing on pipeline, production, and market activity.
- Ensure CRM accuracy and uphold reporting standards across the sales team.

The Role of our Purchasing Manager
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for handling and overseeing the procurement of goods and services through appropriate bidding processes to achieve optimum price value while maintaining superior quality consistent with Silversands Resort’s established control policies and procedures. The Purchasing Manager also maintains and organizes the hotel’s storage facilities, ensures proper distribution, and assists in implementation of key controls associated with the procurement and accounting of goods and services.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3-4 years of luxury hotel, purchasing experience, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory purchasing role.
- Proven experience managing sales teams and key accounts in ultra-luxury or resort environments.
- Solid knowledge of safe food handling standards and beverage management.
- Solid knowledge of key international source markets — US, EU with an established network in the Caribbean Market.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Birchstreet
- Good understanding of revenue management principles and distribution channels.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
- The ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of safe food handling standards and beverage management.
- Flexibility in working shift patterns would be required.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Well-organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
