Team Grenada Shines at Taste of the Caribbean 2025

Grenada delivered an extraordinary performance in Miami, securing 2nd place at the Taste of the Caribbean Culinary Competition 2025—a proud moment for the island and its rising culinary stars. Among the standout competitors was Silversands Beach House Junior Sous Chef, Elvis George, whose skill, creativity, and calm mastery under pressure contributed significantly to the team’s success.

This prestigious regional competition brought together top chefs from across the Caribbean, and Team Grenada impressed with bold Grenadian flavors, polished culinary technique, and unmistakable island pride.

Their success was supported through strong guidance from Chef Belinda Bishop and the dedicated coordination of the Grenada Hotels & Tourism Association (GHTA), along with invaluable sponsorship from partners who helped make the journey possible.
